ABOUT ALEXANDRA
Alexandra Wolly is a Ukrainian-born traditional artist based in the United States, known for her realistic oil and graphite paintings inspired by fantasy, mythology, and cinematic storytelling.
Before pursuing art full-time, Alexandra worked in graphic design, web design, retouching, and illustration while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering. That technical and commercial background now plays a major role in her creative process, allowing her to approach each piece not only as a painting, but as a fully realized professional artwork prepared for publishing, printing, and collection.
Every piece begins traditionally by hand using oil paint or graphite, then is professionally photographed, color-corrected, and prepared in-studio by the artist herself. From concept design to final print preparation, Alexandra handles every stage personally to ensure the artwork translates beautifully both in person and in print.
Her work has appeared on published book covers and in print publications, with collectors and readers across the United States, Australia, and beyond.
Known for atmospheric compositions, rich textures, and emotionally driven imagery, Alexandra creates artwork designed to feel immersive, timeless, and deeply personal.
