COMMISSIONS

From first concept to final delivery, every custom commission is handled personally with careful attention to detail, communication, and professional preparation.

STEP 1

Inquiry & Planning

The process begins with an enquiry form where we discuss the vision, composition, intended use, timeline, and overall direction of the artwork. Once the details are finalized, I prepare a personalized agreement outlining deliverables, licensing, payment structure, timeline, and artwork preparation. A 25% or 50% deposit secures your commission slot.

STEP 2

Concept Sketch

Before painting begins, I create a loose concept sketch based on the approved composition and ideas. This stage allows us to refine the direction and ensure everything feels aligned before moving into the final artwork.

STEP 3

Preparation & Queue

While waiting for the commission start date, I carefully prepare materials, organize references, prime surfaces, and plan the artwork process to ensure the final piece is created with the highest level of care and attention.

STEP 4

Creating the Artwork

Each artwork is created entirely by hand using traditional oil or graphite techniques. Throughout the process, I share progress updates and behind-the-scenes content with the client.

Estimated creation time:
• Oil paintings: approximately 1–2 months
• Graphite artwork: approximately 1–4 weeks

STEP 5

Photography & File Preparation

For commercial projects, the finished artwork is professionally photographed in my studio and carefully color-corrected for print and digital use. Files are prepared and delivered in professional formats including RGB, CMYK, TIFF, and JPG.

STEP 6

Varnishing & Delivery

Once the painting has fully dried and been varnished, the original artwork is carefully packaged and shipped worldwide. Drying and varnishing may require approximately 1–2 additional months depending on the artwork. Every original piece includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
